Mike Potter, Lead Pastor

Mike received a B.A. from Taylor University in Indiana in 1992 in Mass Communications and Christian Education. While there, he served as youth pastor at Milgrove UM Church. Mike then served as Pastor of Student Ministries at FairCreek Church in Dayton, OH from 1994-1999. From 1999-2004, Mike served as the youth pastor at Foothills Fellowship. During that time, he also started a national radio and teaching ministry called Parenting Teenagers. In 2004, he and his family moved to his hometown in Ohio where he served as the Minister of Spiritual Development at Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert, OH. In 2006, Mike returned to Foothills Fellowship to serve as the Lead Pastor. Mike is married to Michelle, has 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

Joe Eastman, Associate Pastor

Joe is an Albuquerque and Foothills Fellowship native. After committing his life to Christ, he and his wife attended Foothills in 2001 where they were baptized. He soon sensed a call to vocational ministry and graduated from Albuquerque Bible College with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. After that, he attended Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary located in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he graduated with a Masters of Divinity. He and his family moved back to Albuquerque where he served as pastor of Highland Baptist Church for 5 years and worked as a professor of Math at CNM. In 2012 he and his family returned to Foothills where shortly thereafter, he was called to be our Associate Pastor. He and his wife, Melissa, have 8 children.
