Small Groups

Small groups gather throughout the week as local manifestations of the larger Foothills body. The goal for small groups is to be representatives of God's kingdom in the various neighborhoods in the Northeast Heights by (1) sharing life through regular meetings, both formal and informal, (2) praying and studying scripture together, and (3) reaching out to the surrounding community to display God's love through service and relational evangelism.

Please call the small group leader or the church office (294-0016) before visiting, as many of our groups rotate homes.

We meet together in small groups because of our committment to the value of Unity in Community.

We recognize that God's calling is not primarily an individualistic call.  Instead, He has always had a people whose lives are manifested communally.  As we live together in ways that embody forgiveness, love, patience, peace, etc. toward one another, we will be a sign and symbol of God's reign on this earth.  We will be demonstrating the fact that we are what Scripture labels us: God's people, Christ's body, and the Spirit's Temple.  Worship is a lifestyle of obedience to God lived out in the community of faith for the sake of the world in which we live.
