Foothills Discipleship Process
At the Foothills, we offer a very strategic and intentional discipleship process for helping believers grow toward Christ-likeness and spiritual maturity. The process is illustrated by the below figure. The process consists of three levels of growth opportunities, each of which entail of learning opportunities and parallel ministry opportunities. Adult Level 1 learning opportunities, which require minimal outside work.
Engage, with Mike Potter — Sunday mornings, 10:45am, in the Worship Center, meets every week — Our discussions will be focused upon the text for the morning message and its application to our lives and ministries. Click here for more detail.
Theology of the Christian Scriptures: Synoptic Gospels & Acts with Stephen Patterson and Dr. Briggs meets in Room #104 beginning January 31, 2010.
Level 2 Learning Opportunities, which requires some outside work.
Written On Our Hearts: 1st & 2nd Corinthians, with Marcie Kinzer meets Sunday mornings in Room 101.
Beth Moore’s ‘Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman’ is offered on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM in Room 101 AND Friday mornings at 10:00am in Room 101 — This 11-week interactive Bible study class is open to all women. Classes begin January 20 and 22 respectively.
Level 3 learning opportunity, which requires considerable outside work.
Theology of the Christian Scriptures: Synoptic Gospels & Acts with Stephen Patterson & Dr. Briggs meets Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm in Room 104. In this course we will examine the biblical theology of the gospels and Acts using the Socratic discussion model.
Children’s Learning Opportunities for Spring 2010
Nursery available for infants and toddlers through 2 years old.
Elementary (pre-school through 6th grade) meet in the Noah’s Ark Building.
Junior High Youth meet in Rooms 102/3
Senior High Youth meet in the Youth Room
